How the free TeleprompterCam reader handles data.
What the application does
TeleprompterCam lets you write, save, import, export and read scripts in your browser. The public website does not include in-app camera or microphone recording.
Scripts and local storage
Scripts, drafts, bookmarks, reading statistics and preferences can be kept in your browser's localStorage. They remain on that device and browser profile until removed, browser data is cleared or scripts are exported. The public website does not automatically upload your script text to a TeleprompterCam server. Other people using a shared device or browser profile may access locally stored information.
Offline operation
A service worker caches public application files for limited offline use. It does not cache your scripts.
Hosting and technical logs
Cloudflare Pages serves this website. Cloudflare may process technical data needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP addresses, web requests and browser information, in accordance with its own practices and policies.
Advertising
The Google AdSense publisher identification meta tag and ads.txt file are present for future site verification. Ad-serving scripts and ads are currently disabled. If ads are enabled, this notice will be updated and applicable consent mechanisms will be implemented before advertising technologies are activated.
Your choices
You can manage saved scripts within the app or clear site data in your browser. Export a copy from the script library before removing it. Blocking local storage may prevent the saving of drafts and settings.
Contact and updates
A dedicated public privacy contact channel has not yet been set up and must be published before advertising is enabled. This notice will be revised if data handling changes or additional services are integrated. Last updated: November 1, 2026.
